Beth: “That’s an easy one.  Being Impulsive.  I act on a whim, never thinking more than two steps ahead.”

Beth: “My seventeenth birthday.  I’ll never forget it.  Walking into my bedroom and seeing red rose petals scattered across my bed sucked the air straight out of my lungs.”

Amon: “Cope?  It is a privilege to watch the world evolve.  Nothing pleases me more than to see humans getting it right.”

Amon: “Creating our children, The Old Ones.  Without their governance, our blood lust would have destroyed mankind.”

Amon: “I’m a vampire god, a supreme being of perfection and excellence.  I can’t say I would change a thing.”

Philippe: “Absolutely true.  It’s our weakness.”
Interviewer: “What do you miss most about being human?"
Philippe: “I consider myself still quite human.  I’m immortal yes, but my soul remains human.”

Philippe: “Losing Beth.”

Philippe: “I think everyone has lied in their lifetime.  To live for eternity, complete candor is nearly impossible for a vampire.”

Claire: “I’m reactive. I don’t stop and think.  Probably should change that.”

Claire: “I have no idea what my parents expected.  They were complete strangers to me.”

Claire: “I get why you’re asking.  A cat with nine lives, I’m not.  I think Gabriel said it best, the Energizer Bunny.”

Claire: “My brother, JJ.  He’s the only family I have left.”

Claire: “That’s a no brainer, Connor and Reynolds.”
